Poem #9

Some time, not that long ago
Darkness spread across the world
Nothing seemed to have hope left
Than there wasn't much to see anyway

Most if it was all in my mind
Even though some of it was true
I could not see any light
I was blind to another side

But one day my vision came to me
And I could see a ray of hope
It was almost blinding
I couldn't help but to stare

Light spred across my world
Hope was found once again
I felt so much better
Bravery brought me somewhere after all

Raising my voice I felt stronger
Something had awoken in me
When the ray of light came to me
I felt as though a fought
a great fight

Poem #8

Familiarity

The mysterious wind brings a strange smell
But yet the smell is not alien, but comforting
Nobody knows what it is, yet it is so familiar
Everybody can smell it no matter how far they are
Everything asks the same question, which forever echoes
Perhaps nobody will ever truly understand it
Even though it has existed since the beginning
There are many mysteries
But by far the most mysterious is
The strange yet familiar smell that the wind carries

-END-

"A familiarity is not always known,
sometimes the most familiar things are the greatest mysteries."

Poem #7

Avoiding Human Temptations

The mysteries never truly end
Once we believe you've discovered
Them all, another one comes up
So why bother
Because we are humans
Humans are curious beings
Always seeking for more
Some even letting this greed
Taking over their actions
Try to not let such wants
Become another part of you
Madness will attempt to consume you
But you must fight such temptions
And never give in

Poem #6

Destiny

Two brothers standing side-by-side
One of them, a shadow hangs over
The other enveloped in light
But, the shaded one is to be ruler
And the shining one to be ruled
Two different beginnings
Two different endings
They are doomed to clash

All though once loving,
They shall hate each other
Remembered each other at one time
But they have long forgotten

Now only time will tell
Who will be the true ruler
Only time can tell
Who they shall be
Perhaps we'll never know
For nobody truly knows who's destined
To carry such a burden
To carry such a destiny

Poem #5

Bringing You Back
(For Kayla)

 You stand in the darkness
I see you standing there.
As I stand in the light,
Reaching out my hand,
I ask you to grab on my arm
So I can pull you back
Into your birthplace, the light.

But, only you can choose
to grab it or not.
But I still pray that you grab it.
I shall pull you into the light
it might be slow.
But I hope to bring happiness
Back to you

Poem #4

Sorrow

Outside I appear happy
but deep inside,
it rains like a gray cloud.
In my heart I search for the su,
beyond the dark gray clouds

Poem #3

Stuck

I stand alone in the shadows,
waiting for a hand to be reaches towards me
I watch numerous people walk by, ignoring me.
Until you came,
you reached out and offered a helping hand.
You pulled me out of the shadows,
back into where I belong,
The Light.
